Overview:
The National Forum on Information Literacy was one of three sponsors of an international leadership colloquium on information literacy, which was held in Alexandria, Egypt, November 6–9, 2005. The co-sponsors were UNESCO and the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions. This was a by-invitation-only event made up largely of regional team members. The colloquium was designed as a working meeting, not a public meeting.
