ASCD is a diverse, international community of educators, forging covenants in teaching and learning for the success of all learners.

Organizational Background/Description
ASCD is a nonpartisan, nonprofit education association with international headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia, sponsoring affiliate organizations worldwide; participating in collaborations and networks; holding conferences, institutes, and training programs; and producing publications in a variety of media. Information Literacy Goals, Areas of Interest, Publications, Standards,etc.  ASCD became a charter member of NFIL in 1990.  Information literacy efforts include:
