The Business Intelligence Center is a global team of information professionals. We offer around-the-clock services through approximately 150 department members found in 27 global locations. The Business Intelligence Center is Dow's primary resource for business intelligence expertise and services. We exist to help people develop and implement optimized strategies, make effective decisions and identify and understand growth opportunities. We do this through gathering, analyzing and sharing internal information and information about the world outside of Dow.

The Business Intelligence Center supports the learning organization concept and is an advocate of developing the information skills of employees. Our current focus is on:

a. Developing the information literacy competencies of a global workforce taking into consideration the impact of demographics and multiple delivery channels for learning initiatives.

b. Aligning these activities with the companies overall knowledge management and learning organization goals.
