How to become a member

Membership in the National Forum on Information Literacy is open to national and international organizations including those, which are public, private, nonprofit, and governmental. Members are expected to have a commitment to the promotion of information literacy within the context of their own organizations and also as a right for all people.

Members are requested to keep the information on their organizations up to date on the Forum web page, and to share information on their information literacy efforts, and when possible, to have a representative attend the three times a year meeting of the Forum in Washington, D.C. (It is understood that because of their location, attendance by some members is usually not possible.) There are no dues.
